TYPE EDUCATION PUBLICATION

During my freshman year at Quinnipiac University, I participated in a class that explores typography. During this class we learned the fundamentals of type history and explored current industry leaders. 

At the end of the semester we used our knowledge to create a final publication booklet. Within this document we included information on type anatomy and classifications. We also took notes on Thinking With Type by Elle Lupton and included those insights. The final element of these publications was artist spotlights. We did multiple spotlights throughout the semester but in the end, I chose Jessica Walsh, Paula Scher, and Marian Bantjes to highlight.
